Glittering suite

It took five years and 2.5 tonnes of gold to complete the 7,000 square foot suite - called the Swisshorn Gold Palace, located in Hong Kong. It also includes a diamond-studded golden carriage, golden sofa, dining table and chairs, and fittings. The toilet alone, cost about $5 millions.

The palace, a total cost of $50 million is the brainchild of Hong Kong jewelery manufacturer Lam Sai-wing. Lam's idea was inspired by the unfulfilled promise of a Han Emperor, who pledged to build a gold palace for his wife A-Jiao.

You can spend a night at this suite at the cost of $25,000 per night. For those who can't afford it, you can still walk around and take photographs for 3 US Dollar.
