Dennis Avner has an unbelievable obsession in altering his appearance. Grew up in the Huron and Lakota tribes, he said that his belief in their customs has driven him to transform himself into his totem animal, a tiger.
Since the age of 23, Dennis Avner now goes by his Native American name Stalking Cat, has been slowly transforming himself.
At first it was just a body tattoo, then he undergone extensive operations to have a cleft lip, a flat upturned nose, brow implants, elongated ears, fanged dentures, and steel implants for detachable whiskers and many others just to get himself to look more like a tiger.
Cat cannot go under the surgeon's knife because it's illegal in the US for a medical professional to alter someone's appearance beyond what society deems normal. And because only qualified doctors are licensed to administer anesthetic, Cat has to brave through the pain throughout all his surgeries.
He admits that he doesn't get much pleasure from the process of his transformation, only that it gets him closer to his goal. Cat says his aim is to become a perfect cross between a cat and a human, incorporating the best aspects of both.As the saying goes, woman can do anything a man can do. If there's a tiger man, there must be a tiger lady. Katzen has a full body tattoo as well as whiskers and she looks like a tiger too. But I'm not sure if they know each other.
